PUMPKIN MASH

                                                                                 
Ingredients are : -

4 medium size potato peeled and chopped roughly

½ cup pumpkin chopped roughly

1 clove garlic

1tbs thickened cream
¼ cup butter

½ onions chopped fine

Medium heat on stove pour chopped potato, pumpkin and garlic deep sauce pan add water until cover the spuds.With the lid on cook it for 20 minutes or until the spuds tender.

Next drain the water out of the sauce pan and add the butter, crème, salt, paper mashed them all.

Then add onion mix them well.

Serve it hot with steak or your favorite

We usually eat them with

T-bone, mash and steamed silverbeet

Or with roast lamb shank

Here is how . follow the instructions .

1 Avocado Peeled & chopped roughly

2 table spoon honey

11/2 cups milk

1/2 lemon juice

Blend until smooth

serve with slice of lemon

How to cook Lemon, Carrot, Ginger cake

Lemon , carrot and ginger flavored cake                      

Here is how

you will need

460 g lemon cake mix

1/2 cup finally grated carrot

2 tea spoon finally grated fresh ginger

1 tea spoon mixed spice

2 large organic egg

2 table spoon olive oil

2/3 cup of thick milk

20cm x 7cm round cake pan

Step one : Preheat oven to 160 or 180 degree cent grease oil or melted butter on cake pan lightly and line with baking paper.

Step two : place cake mix, grated carrot, ginger,spice, egg and milk &oil into mixing bowl and using in electric mixture beat on low speed for 40 second. then beat on medium speed for 2 minutes. Pour the mixture into prepared cake pan and bake it for 45 minutes. cook it until tooth pick come out clean.

Allow to cool for 5 minutes cooling rack.

Icing tip : Use with white betty crocker frosting

serve up to 12

How to cook Vegetarian food using Chick Pea Flour

Here is how

You need the following ingredients
5 table spoon Chick Pea Flour
pinch of salt and pepper
1/2 tea spoon turmeric
1 cup water
Sauce
1 medium onion diced
2 table spoon olive oil
3 table spoon capsicum and green chili diced

Step are

On prepared sauce pan mix Chick Pea Flour,salt & pepper, turmeric and water . cook it on medium heat for about 3 minutes or until get thick but you have to keep stir it with stop. other wise gets lumpy and doesn't test good. I attached photo with it step by step how to do it.

After mixture " Butecha" get thicker remove from heat and on prepared plates or big tray. Spoon on tray before get dry while hot. cover the whole try with hot chic pea flour mixture.

Next after you put on fridge for up to 35 minutes or until get set . (just like gel)

and Prepare the sauce heat fry pan on medium heat and add oil and onion cook it for up to 5 minutes or until golden brown and add pinch salt & capsicum and green chili cook further less than a minutes and remove from heat .

take the "Butecha" from fridge and chop it diced and mix with prepared sauce.

Serve with squeeze lime juice

Butecha is name of this food in Amharic word and come from Ethiopia.

I grow up eating this delicious and lot more food

Strawberry Flavored baby cup cake

Ingredients

  • 300g Baby cake mix
  • 1/4 tea spoon strawberry flavored powder or essence
  • 1 table spoon olive oil
  • 2 small egg
  • 1/4 cup self raising flour
  • 1/8 teas spoon mixed spice
  • 1/3 cup coconut  milk 
 Methods :

Preheat oven to 180 degree cent or 160 degree cent fan forced.
Place patty papers into muffin tray or on baking tray.

Place the cake mix into a bowl . Add all dry ingredients  mix them well
and add milk, oil & egg mix with wooden spoon until thoroughly combined. Spoon the batter evenly into the 24 papers.

Bake for 15 - 20 minutes or until a skewer comes out clean.

Allow to cool in the tray  for 5 minutes before placing onto a wire rack to cool
